Join Callara Culture for a unique male-only 2-day cultural experience combining an immersive On Country journey with a hands-on traditional didgeridoo workshop.
On Day One, depart Condobolin and travel to Mallee Country with Tommy to personally select your own Yidaki (didgeridoo). Spend the day connecting with Country through storytelling, music, and cultural knowledge while sharing lunch on Country before returning to Condobolin. Transport and lunch are included.
On Day Two, take part in a creative workshop where you will decorate your Yidaki using traditional burning techniques or natural ochres. Participants will also learn basic playing skills and circular breathing techniques before taking their finished instrument home.
This experience offers a meaningful opportunity for men to connect with Culture, Country, music, and traditional knowledge in the heart of Central West NSW.
